  • Catherine’s debut feature film Growing Pains is now streaming exclusively on Tubi, chosen as just ten films to be apart of the Tubi x Kickstarter Film Stream Collective in 2025 and awarded a $10,000 grant. Growing Pains was awarded the prestigious ReFrame Stamp by The Sundance Institute and Women in Film for gender-balanced hiring. Growing Pains was honored on the Diversity Spotlight at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival by Nielsen, Studio System, and RespectAbility, alongside filmmakers like Ava Duvernay and Denis Villeneuve. In 2026, Growing Pains will be represented by Hammad Zaidi at the Marché du Film in Cannes.

Growing Pains is a semi-autobiographical real and raw coming-of-age story about identity, sexuality, and the aftermath of surviving cancer with unflinching honesty– inspired by Catherine’s personal experience as a childhood cancer survivor. Growing Pains premiered at Chelsea Film Festival, The Boston International Film Festival, Santa Monica Film Festival and won The Lonely Seal International Film Festival.

  • The Ocean Calls Me is a surfing action coming-of-age drama film in active development. A Sundance Development Lab shortlist contender with Surf Girls Hawai’i from Prime Video & Hello Sunshine creator Monica Medellin attached as Executive Producer. Written and directed by Catherine Argyrople.

A working class teen girl must win an all-male surfing competition in 1970's Florida to save her family after the suicide of her father. On the surface, the film shows women breaking barriers in sports, but ultimately this is an underdog to champion a coming-of-age story about navigating grief, PTSD, and trauma.

  • An Australian Christmas comedy film in development with disabled and queer talent at the forefront of the story. Written by Australian deaf writer/actor David Grant, directed and Executive Produced by Catherine Argyrople.

Polar-opposite siblings Katy and Caleb’s trip into Melbourne turns into a wild adventure when they get tangled into a crime family mess, forcing them to confront their differences and save Christmas, together.

  • Getting Back Out There is a comedy TV Pilot in development about a bizarre and outlandish first date experience from the perspective of a newly single woman, with a surrealist twist. Devon, a self-conscious newly single woman, embarks on her first date with Tyler, a bizarre musician. Tyler is not what she expected and the date takes a surrealist turn when she has visions of her idealized version of Tyler and ex-boyfriend, Josh, popping up in her head.

Inspired by HBO's Girls and Insecure, Getting Back Out There is a modern take on dating.
